Are you interested in driving for Keane Thummel Trucking?
Our modern fleet of Peterbilt tractors with CAT engines mated to Eaton 18 speed transmissions, means our drivers are able to drive in style and get great fuel economy. Our equipment is second to none. We don't buy bare bones equipment whether it is a tractor or trailer. We want our drivers to have only the best equipment to drive and work with. The average age of our fleet is less than 2 years old for tractors and about 3 years old for trailers. This means less breakdown time for our drivers and more productive time for everyone.
Our freight runs to the West Coast and the South East along with the Midwest. We generally get our Van drivers through the house on a every other week basis and the Step Deck drivers are home for home time between ten and twelve days. Family is important to us and we know it is important to you. That is why we will work with your schedule in mind when planning freight for you.
We start our pay for new at drivers 24% of the gross revenue of the load and increase that amount to 25% after their first two years are completed. This means we are not selecting cheap freight just to keep our trucks busy. We run select freight with select customers and this allows our drivers to earn a good living. Our average wage for a driver in their first year with us is over $62,000. We also offer monthly bonuses after your third month with us.
Our drivers stay with us as we are a driver and family oriented company. The 'swinging door' will never be installed here. Keane Thummel Trucking is interested in long term employees we can call by name. We would ask that if you would like to be part of our family, then please fill out an online application and we will be in contact with you.
